DAY 2 Barcelona, Girona

Your sightseeing begins with a fascinating guided city tour, taking in many famous sights as well as a number of the incredible structures collectively World Heritage-listed under ‘works of Antoni Gaudí’. This afternoon, travel to Girona, where later, a local naturalist will offer insight into the Cap de Creus.(BD)

DAY 3 Girona, Empúries, Palamós


Arrive in Palamós, where you will actively assist in a live seafood auction. Learn about the unique auction process, which is opposite to normal practices, where the price starts high and ends low. Afterwards, be treated to a cooking demonstration that showcases some of the finest local Catalan seafood specialities, before sitting down to enjoy fresh seafood for dinner.

Discover ancient Greek and Roman civilisation with a visit to the Ruins of Empúries. Continue to the medieval villages of Pals and Peratallada for a tour.(BD)

DAY 4 Girona, Port Lligat, Cap de Creus

Visit the Port Lligat Museum-House, the residence where prominent Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí lived from 1930 to 1982. Afterwards, head to the most easterly point of mainland Spain with a visit to Cap de Creus, a great source of inspiration for Dalí. Wind along through sheer rugged beauty as you traverse the steep rocky coastline. Capture breathtaking vistas from the lighthouse, as you sit back, relax and enjoy refreshments while you gaze out to the beautiful vista. Afterwards, return to Girona for the evening at leisure.(B)

DAY 5 Girona, Cardona

Depart early this morning for Cardona. Along the way, stop in the town of Vic to see its Main Square. Upon arrival into Cardona, visit the former salt mines of the Mina Nieves, where you will learn about the cultural and ecological importance of salt. Later, arrive at your hotel, which happens to be a medieval castle with tower and Romanesque church.(BD)

DAY 6 Cardona, Jaca, Leyre


In Jaca, select whether to enjoy a guided city tour, or alternatively, discover the 32,000 tiny soldiers posed in 23 historical settings at the Jaca Citadel Military Miniatures Museum. The displays replicate the ancient chariot warfare in Egypt through to the rolling tanks of World War II.

Head to the town of Jaca where you will be able to choose your preferred sightseeing activity. Afterwards, continue to Leyre, where you will visit the iconic Monastery of Leyre. Tonight, your accommodation awaits in an Aragonese-style stately building.(BD)

DAY 7 Leyre, Pamplona, San Sebastián

DAY 8 San Sebastián


You will visit a Txoko for lunch, a Basque gastronomical society where locals come together to cook, experiment with new methodologies of cooking, and of course, eat and socialise.

Embark on a stroll along San Sebastián’s stunning oceanfront promenade, followed by a tour through the Old Town then enjoy your Signature Experience. Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to further explore or simply unwind within this charming seaside town.(BL)
