Explore Old Delhi and the Jama Masjid. Dazzle your senses on a rickshaw ride through the spice bazaar before undertaking a heritage walk. Later visit Humayan’s Tomb before moving to New Delhi to see the India Gate and Presidential Avenue. Tonight enjoy your special welcome dinner.(BLD)

DAY 3 Delhi

Freechoice: Learn about the spiritual paths in India or visit a pottery village. Alternatively visit ‘Historical Delhi’ or explore the National Museum and learn all about Gandhi.

Marvel at the Taj Mahal at sunrise and sunset and explore Agra Fort.

DAY 6 Agra > Jaipur

Explore the World Heritage-listed site of the deserted Mughal capital city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to navigate along back roads and tiny villages to Jaipur, also known as the ‘Pink City’ and the capital of Rajasthan. Afterwards check into your regal hotel for a three night stay.(BL)

DAY 7 Jaipur

Revel in your visit to the striking 17th century hilltop Amber Fort. Explore the Maharajah’s apartments, the many palaces with interiors richly decorated with exquisite paintings and intricate carvings and soak in the views of the massive ramparts surrounding the complex. (BLD)

DAY 8 Jaipur

DAY 9 Jaipur > Delhi (Gurgaon)

Journey to Gurgaon to see Indian cinema come alive at the ‘Kingdom of Dreams’ Bollywood stage show, a vibrant spectacle of colour, music and dance. Check into your hotel with its landscaped gardens and reflection pools. Tonight enjoy a truly gourmet farewell dining experience of Indian cuisine from the coastal regions of India. (BLD)

DAY 12 Bangalore > Mysoree

DAY 17 Coorg > Hassane

DAY 18 Hassan > Bangalore > Kochi

Drive to Belur to visit the Channakeshave Temple and the Hoysala Temples in Halebid. Return to Bangalore to fly to Kochi. Upon arrival check into the Brunton Boatyard. (BL)

DAY 19 Kochi > Kumarakom

Travel into the backwaters to Kumarakom and the Coconut Lagoon, your home for the next two nights. Enjoy your afternoon cruise along the famed palm-fringed Kerala Backwaters. Alternatively, take the opportunity to spend your first night on board a houseboat, a traditional rice barge Kettuvallam and cruise through the lakes and backwaters.
