DAY 1 Darwin

Welcome to Darwin, the gateway of the Kimberley. Enjoy a two night stay at the Hilton Hotel beginning with a delicious welcome dinner. (D)

DAY 2 Darwin

Freechoice: Choose a safari on Corroboree Billabong or discover Litchfield National Park and its famous termite mounds. Alternatively, choose between a Jumping Crocs cruise on the Adelaide River, discover the breadth of sparkling Darwin Harbour on a lunch cruise or take the WWII Bombing of Darwin tour. (B)

Day 3 Darwin > Kakadu National Park

Travel to the amazing World Heritage- listed Kakadu National Park and marvel at ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock. Visit Bowali Visitors Centre for a greater understanding about the area before cruising on Yellow Water Billabong, spotting crocodiles and bird life. Your hotel tonight is the Mercure Crocodile, built in the shape of an actual crocodile. Day 4 Kakadu National Park > Katherine

Heading south you stop at Pine Creek named after the many pine trees that Overland Telegraph workers found during construction of this incredible telegraph line, which connected Australia to the rest of the world in 1872. Visit Nitmiluk National Park, home to the breathtaking Katherine Gorge. Tonight enjoy a special stay at Cicada Lodge, nestled in natural bush it’s the newest accommodation to be built in the area. Day 5 Katherine > Kununurra

Journey today to Western Australia and let the vast expanse of the Kimberley slowly reveal itself. Visit Lake Argyle, the largest lake in the Southern Hemisphere. Your afternoon cruise on the Ord River is simply breathtaking. Marvel at the vast variety of bird life, immense gorge walls and river scenery before arriving at the Pinctada Kimberley Grand Hotel. DAY 6 Kununurra > El Questro

DAY 7 El Questro

Freechoice: Choose between a
cruise through Chamberlain Gorge or an outback experience learning about traditional medicines, hunting techniques and the use of fire on a culture and history tour of El Questro. Alternatively relax with a picnic hamper and enjoy the ambience of this amazing place or join a park ranger on a bird tour. (BD)

DAY 8 El Questro > Halls Creek

Visit the world’s largest single producer of diamonds on your tour of the Argyle Diamond Mine. Learn about the open cut mine and the original indigenous inhabitants. Tonight we stay at the Halls Creek Hotel. Halls Creek sits on the northern edge of the Great Sandy Desert. (BLD)

DAY 9 Halls Creek > Fitzroy Crossing

Visit China Wall, a natural white stone wall that looks just like the Great Wall of China but in Western Australia. Cruise the Fitzroy River through the exquisite Geikie Gorge. You may even spot local wildlife including sawfish, stingrays and freshwater crocodiles. Our overnight stay is at Fitzroy River Lodge. (BD)

Day 10 Fitzroy Crossing > Broome

Arrive at the jewel of the Kimberley, the town of Broome. It’s the perfect place to relax with its long stretches of white sand beaches and warm tropical waters. With a rich history in pearling and a strong multicultural foundation, you’ll fall in love with this unique town. DAY 11 Broome
